Italian fashion designer Miuccia Prada is the winner of this year's Outstanding Achievement gong at The Fashion Awards, in partnership with Swarovksi, for her contribution to the global fashion industry.

Prada, head designer at her namesake fashion house and founder of its subsidiary Miu Miu, will be honoured with the award at London's Royal Albert Hall, December 10, The British Fashion Council confirmed.
